Australian Camp trek is a short and easy day trek around Pokhara. Australian Camp and Dhampus Village are the major attractions of this trek. You will see the closed view of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Himchuli, Machhapurchhre, Annapurna IV, Annapurna III, Annapurna II, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu range, etc. on a clear day.

Day 1 : Arrival, Transfer to Hotel.

According to the flight details provided by you, you will be greeted by our representative at the International Airport with your name and walkmountain.com written on it. Then, we will assist you to transfer to the hotel where you will be welcomed by tea/coffee. In the evening we will have a welcome dinner organized by our team to get to know each other, after that we will spend overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2 : Free day, Shopping around thamel.

Today we will be doing a walkable sightseeing around the Thamel. During the day we will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square which is the "Old Royal Palace of Kathmandu Kingdom", also listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site. Narayanhiti Palace Museum & Dreams of Garden are the pre-eminent places to enjoy lunch and dinner and to explore the local places we will also visit Ason which is one of the oldest cities in Kathmandu. We will also have time to do some shopping in Thamel & Durbar Marg which are famed tourist areas of Kathmandu. If you are interested in adventure activities we would provide the "Canyoning and Bungee " which is '160m' from Bhote Koshi River as a day trip. Lastly, we will stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3 : Kathmandu heritage sightseeing.

After a short introduction with our tour guide, today we are having a tour around Kathmandu, "A UNESCO World Heritage Site" with our tour guide which includes Pashupatinath Temple “the biggest Hindu temple of Nepal” which is also known as a place for the body cremation of Hindu religion. Then we will drive to Bouddhanath Stupa which is one of the biggest stupas in Asia. Then we will drive to Swayambhunath Stupa, popularly known as “Monkey Temple”. This stupa is on a small hill from where we can see the whole view of Kathmandu Valley. At last, we will drive to Patan Durbar Square which is famous for its 'Ancient Royal Palace'. Inside the square, you can see different Hindu temples some of them are Vishwanath Temple, Taleju Bhawani Temple, Krishna Temple, etc. Besides that, you can study the Newari architecture, arts, and culture and stay overnight in Kathmandu

Day 4 : Kathmandu to Pokhara via Rafting.

After a short inauguration with our tour guide, today we are having a tour around Kathmandu, "A UNESCO World Heritage Site" with our tour guide which includes Pashupatinath Temple “the biggest Hindu Temple of Nepal” which is also known as a place for the body cremation of Hindu religion. Then we will drive to the biggest Stupa in Asia, the Bouddhanath Stupa". Then we will drive to Swayambhunath Stupa which is popular as “Monkey Temple”. This stupa is on a small hill from where we can see the whole Kathmandu valley. At last, we will drive to Patan Durbar Square, “Ancient Royal Palace”. Inside the square, you will be able to explore different Hindu popular temples which are Vishwanath Temple, Taleju Bhawani Temple, Krishna Temple, etc. Besides that, you can study the Newari architecture, arts, and culture and stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 5 : Sarankot sunrise, pokhara sightseeing.

In the early morning, we will go to Sarangkot Hill to view the sunrise which will take 1 hour drive from our hotel. You will see panoramic Himalayan views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu along with the sunrise. After chilling for some hours we will drive to Bindhyabasini temple which is dedicated to the goddess Bhagawati. Then, we will drive back to the hotel for breakfast and rest for some hours. After that, if anyone is interested in paragliding we can also go for that. We will also include Davis Falls (waterfall), Gupteshwor Cave (the world's famous pilgrim site dedicated to Lord Shiva), International Mountain Museum, Seti River, KIC Bridge, and Mahendra Cave in the trip. In the evening you will have plenty of time to go boating on Phewa Lake visit Pokhara City for shopping and stay overnight at Pokhara.

Day 6 : Drive to Kande, Trek to Australian Camp

We will drive to Kande from Pokhara in the early morning in a private vehicle which will take 1 hour following the Ghobang Khola (river). After reaching there we will hike to Australian Camp which will again take 2-3 hours. During the hike we will get an opportunity to glimpse "Rhododendron Forest", after that, we will stay overnight at a lodge in the Australian Camp.

Day 7 : Walk to Phedi via Dhampush from Australian Camp, drive back to Pokhara.

Early in the morning, we will wake up to see the sunrise view with the Annapurna, Fishtail, and other mountains along with breakfast (tea & coffee) at the same lodge where we spent the night. After breakfast, we will walk to Dhampush which is famous for its up and down hills. During the walk, we will stop at Dhampush for our lunch and enjoy some rest time. After that, we will walk to Phedi and again drive back to Pokhara from Phedi. Lastly, we will stay overnight at Pokhara.

Day 8 : Back to Kathmandu, rest day.

We need to take either 20 minutes flight or drive for 6 hours to Kathmandu which is 200 km east of Pokhara on Prithivi highway where we could enjoy the riverside view and farmlands with great views of the Himalayas up above the green hills. At Kathmandu, we will have enough time to rest or to go shopping and to stay overnight.

Day 9 : Fly back to home.

Last day in Nepal our office staff will drop you at the airport 2 hours before your actual flight, with some altruistic memories and indelible moments with you and other members.

  1. On payment options, the REFERENCE or DESCRIPTION part should be filled with your full names or the name of the Safari Package.
  2. 50% of Payments must be deposited for reservation.
  3. Prices are in the assumption of full payment before the trip commences.
  4. Prices are in assumption no changes in current Park fees or Park regulations.
  5. If any unexpected changes in park or camps fees there will be a surcharge.
  6. Personal documents may be requested to verify payment if necessary or requested by the online gateway provider e.g Bank.

Refund Policy or Cancellation

Depositing money to us is an indication of readiness to make use of the tour and travel arrangements and accommodation we reserve on your behalf. All cancellations are subject to a certain charge based on estimated losses properly calculated as follows:

  1. If you cancel your trip 91 days to departure, 20% is forfeited.
  2. 61 days to 90 days, 30% of the safari cost is forfeited.
  3. 40 days to 60 days 60% of the tour cost is forfeited.
  4. 31 days to 39 days, 80% of the safari cost is forfeited.
  5. If cancellations are done one month (30 Days) to the trip or No show, 100% of the safari is forfeited.
  6. For payments not paid in full to the date of the departure, and failure of making final payments, reservations will be cancelled and no refund will be availed.
