Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek, the seventh highest mountain peak in the world is enclosed on the north and southwest by tributaries of the Bheri and on the southeast by Myagdi Khola. This region provides a massive mountain range of Dhaulagiri consisting of fifteen 7000-meter peaks which are magnificent. Dhaulagiri is known to be the “White Mountain” in the local dialect, justifying a magnificent peak rising as a giant shoulder of shining ice and snow. Dhaulagiri was first discovered in 1808, and it is considered an interesting peak with more than six different routes. The trek around the virgin and untouched area of Dhaulagiri round is challenging and adventurous. The trek is excellent and commences from Beni, and forwards up to the base camp where the trekkers reach the French Pass (5,360 m) the highest point of the trek, down the French Pass enters the lost but attractive accurate wilderness areas reachable to trekkers in Nepal known as Hidden Valley. After crossing Dhampus Pass, the track comes down into the valley of the Kali Gandaki meeting the main trail either at Marpha or at Tukuche. This region is perfect for those trekkers who are interested in exploring endangered species residing in this area including the mysterious snow Leopard. This region offers you completely mesmerizing nature’s wonders untouched by modernity.

Day 01: Arrival, transfer to Hotel

Today you will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport where you will be welcomed by our representatives who will assist you to transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. After freshening up; you will be provided with the necessary details about the trips to Nepal. There will be a special meeting and Welcome dinner program with the following trekking staff of the Himalayan Club Tours & Travel.

Day 2 : Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation

You will be assisted by our tour guide for Kathmandu valley sightseeing, including several places of pilgrimage sites for Hindus and Buddhists, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the world's biggest Stupa; Boudhhanath, Swoyambhunath Stupa (monkey temple) and historical Kathmandu Durbar Square with unique architectural temple, and incredible Kumari widely known as Living Goddess in Basantapur of central Kathmandu. There will be a meeting with other members along with our fellow trekking staff at our office for a pre-trip in the evening.

Day 3 : Kathmandu to Beni (830m/2731ft)

Take a comfy drive to Beni from Kathmandu Valley with a cozy Tourist Bus and mesmerizing views of the Himalayas on the top of green hills for 11 hours. Beni is the district headquarters of Myagdi. Beni is at the confluence of the Myagdi Khola and the Kali Gandaki. Lastly, we will spend the overnight at the Hotel.

Day 4 : Trek from Beni to Babichaur (1000m/3280ft): 6-7 hrs

We trek onwards to the riverbank of Kaligandaki upstream at first, moving toward the Myagdi River through small towns like Beni Mangalghat to Singa and Tatopani (hot springs). We will then cross two suspension bridges to reach the village of Babichaur. Overall, we will spend overnight at Babichaur.

Day 5 : Babichaur to Dharapani (1565m/5134ft): 7 hrs

The trail steep upward and continues along the Myagdi Khola passing through several villages to reach Darbang where we stop for lunch. The trail further cross the bridge and soon arrive to Phedi and climbs to Dharapani. Overnight at Dharapani.

Day 6 : Dharapani to Muri (1850m/6068ft): 6.5 hrs

Today we will hike from Dharapani and descend through Takum and Sibang. The trail gently climbs up and crosses over a suspension bridge of Dhara Khola. Our trek continues till we reach the large Magar village of Muri where we will stop for the night.

Day 7 : Muri to Boghara (2050m/6724ft): 7.5 hrs

We will gently descend steeply to cross the rocky stream and continue to terraced fields to Dhora Khola. The trail passes through a number of clearing with fields and farmhouses above the Myagdi Khola. We will then make a gentle descent through a forest and terraced fields which finally takes us to Boghara for the overnight stop.

Day 8 : Boghara to Dhoban (2630m/8626ft): 6 hrs

Today, we will begin our trek to Dobang by following the trail descending through terraced fields and a small ridge at the first. After that, we will head towards a forested path to Jyardan where we can enjoy the scenic landscapes. Then we will climb a high winding path with a rocky area descending and climbing the Lapche Kharka. Moreover, after the completion of the climb, we will head towards our next destination so that we can spend a night at Dobang.

Day 9 : Dobhan to Coriban khola (3110 m)

The trail continues through the dense, lush vegetation of ferns, bamboo, and rhododendrons making the descent to Magdi Khola after crossing via a wooden bridge to the east bank continue to chartare. A few hour's walk through forests again brings you Choriban Khola after crossing a stream. Overall, we will spend overnight at Choriban Khola.

Day 10 : Dhoban to Italien Base camp (3500m/11,480ft): 6-7 hrs

The trail passes through the terminal moraine of Chhonbarban Glacier traverses the side of the valley and then climbs to the Grassy area on the lateral Moraine to Italian Base Camp. You can have an impressive look at the Dhaulagiri II (7751m), Dhaulagiri III (7715m), and Dhaulagiri V (7618m) to the west from ABC. Overall, we will spend overnight at the Italian Base Camp.

Day 11 : Rest & Acclimatization day

Today we will get a chance to explore the surroundings of Italian Base Camp and acclimatize our body at a higher altitude by resting for a day. Italians were the first trekkers to set the camp at this place during adverse weather, since then, it has been widely known as IBC (Italian Base Camp). Lastly, we will spend overnight at Tented Camp.

Day 12 : Italian Base camp to Glacier camp (4250m/13,940ft): 3-4 hrs

The trail descends steeply through the lateral moraine which passes through a narrow gorge to gain the glacier. This itinerary is specially designed to have two extra nights between IBC and the main Dhaulagiri Base Camp so that your body can adjust to higher altitudes and prevent Acute Mountain Sickness, overnight at Glacier Camp.

Day 13 : Dhaulagiri Base camp (4650m/15,252ft): 4 hrs

We trek for hours through the snowy and long trail and we can feel short breath to reach base camp. You can have a majestic view of Dhaulagiri and its range.

Day 14 : Acclimatization day

We allow you a full day to explore the surroundings vicinity of Dhaulagiri Base Camp. The view from this base camp is mesmerizing. You can have a magnificent view of Dhaulagiri and its surroundings. Lastly, we will spend overnight at Tented Camp.

Day 15 : Cross French pass (5,360m/1758) and trek to Hidden Valley (5,050m/16564ft) 7-8 hrs

On this day we will walk along the base camp climbing terraced hills, the mountain flank, and the moraine. Further, we will have an easy walk on French pass slopes with top marked by Buddhist prayer flags. We will descend and cross Thapa Pass to hidden valley where we spend our night at tented Camp near Dhampus peak.

Day 16 : Cross Dhampus Pass (5230m/17155ft) to Yak Kharka (3680m/12070ft) 6-7hrs

After a hearty breakfast, we will trek to cross Dhampus Pass through the snowy trails and slowly get to the top. We will finally head down to a rocky ridge to Yak Kharka. Yak Kharka is the perfect campsite to spend the night enjoying the scenic landscapes.

Day 17 : Yak Kharka to Jomsom via Marpha [2,715m/8,910ft]: 7-8 hrs

We will follow the trail that descends to the alluring village of Marpha which is admired and well-known for its apple orchids as well as all the food products made from fruit. You can also taste local Apple Brandy which is the local specialty of Marpha Village. After a few hour's walk from Marpha, finally will bring you to Jomsom.

Day 18 : Fly back to Pokhara

An early dramatic flight of approximately 25 minutes with mesmerizing views of the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and other mountains will brings us to the natural charming city of Pokhara.

Day 19 : Pokhara - Kathmandu 6 hour

Today we will take a drive for 6 hours to Kathmandu which is 200km east of Pokhara on Prithivi highway enjoying the riverside view and farm lands with great views of Himalayans up above the green hills. Lastly, we will spend overnight at the Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 20 : Departure from Kathmandu for next trip or to your home

This is the last day of your tour to enjoy Nepal, as your trek has come to an end. If you have holidays left and are ready for the next trip then let us know. If not our representative will transfer you to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onward destination, taking along the mesmerizing memories spent with us.

On payment options, the REFERENCE or DESCRIPTION part should be filled with your full names or the name of the Safari Package.
50% of Payments must be deposited for reservation.
Prices are in the assumption of full payment before the trip commences.
Prices are in assumption no changes in current Park fees or Park regulations.
If any unexpected changes in park or camps fees there will be a surcharge.
Personal documents may be requested to verify payment if necessary or requested by the online gateway provider e.g Bank.

Refund Policy or Cancellation

Depositing money to us is an indication of readiness to make use of the tour and travel arrangements and accommodation we reserve on your behalf. All cancellations are subject to a certain charge based on estimated losses properly calculated as follows:

If you cancel your trip 91 days to departure, 20% is forfeited.
61 days to 90 days, 30% of the safari cost is forfeited.
40 days to 60 days 60% of the tour cost is forfeited.
31 days to 39 days, 80% of the safari cost is forfeited.
If cancellations are done one month (30 Days) to the trip or No show, 100% of the safari is forfeited.
For payments not paid in full to the date of the departure, and failure of making final payments, reservations will be cancelled and no refund will be availed.
